Non è che in "isola" non ci sono negozi di rivendita di frutta e ortaggi freschi, (tra l'altro prodotti che vengono venduti anche nei 2 supermercati se si possono chiamare così viste le ridotte dimensioni rispetto a quelli della vicina terraferma ma enormi visti gli spazi ridotti dell'isola di Murano, uno posizionato nelle vicinanze della prima fermata del battello ACTV (denominata Murano Colonna), l'altro nei pressi della fermata ACTV del Museo Vetrario (denominata Murano Museo)), ma si possono acquistare nelle rive ortaggi prodotti nella vicina isola di Sant'Erasmo che i coltivatori con le loro piccole barche vengono a vendere giornalmente.
